Scott Wright, M.D. and Mandeep Singh, M.D. to review the newer treatment options available for cardiovascular and primary care providers for appropriate risk reduction in Type 2 DM patients. Review the newer, lower LDL-C Thresholds expected for primary and secondary prevention for Type 2 DM patients.
TOPICS INCLUDE:
- Review the new recommended LDL-C thresholds for patients with Type 2 DM.
- Review newer therapies including oral and PCSK 9 directed therapies.
- Review the safety and efficacy data with Inclisiran and bempedoic acid.
- Review strategies to lower LDL-C in type 2 DM patients.
