Live Conference Cardiovascular CME Guidelines

Guidelines for the resumption of live (in-person) courses and conferences effective March 31, 2022.

Mayo Clinic is closely monitoring COVID-19 prevalence and may adjust live course attendance limits as necessitated by CDC, public health and other relevant guidelines. Attendees are asked to comply with all live course and conference guidelines below.

  • At conferences with 50 or more attendees, attendees must attest that they completed COVID-19 testing of any kind (home testing accepted) and received a negative test result within 72 hours or less of the first published date of the course OR that a positive COVID-19 test result of any kind was received within the past 90 days, it has been at least 10 days since COVID-19 infection, and they are currently asymptomatic.
  • At conferences with 50 or more attendees, attendees must attest that they will comply with all safety requirements and that they understand the inherent risk associated with being in large groups of people. 
  • Attendees are recommended to wear masks, but not required.
  • Hand sanitizer will be provided, and frequent handwashing is encouraged.

Requirements and guidelines are in effect until further notice and may be amended as CDC, public health and other relevant guidance are adjusted.
