Guidelines for Live Courses and Conferences

Guidelines for the resumption of live (in-person) courses and conferences effective January 7, 2022.

Mayo Clinic is closely monitoring COVID-19 prevalence and may adjust live course attendance limits as necessitated by CDC, public health and other relevant guidelines. Attendees are asked to comply with all live course and conference guidelines below.

  • All live (in-person) course attendees (including faculty, staff, learners and exhibitors) must attest and show proof of vaccination including booster prior to or at the time of course check in.
  • Attendees must complete COVID-19 testing and provide attestation at course check in that a negative test, performed by any testing mechanism, was received within 72 hours or less before the first published date of the course OR provide proof that a lab-confirmed positive COVID-19 test result was received within the previous 90 days, that it has been at least 5 days since the positive test, and that you are currently asymptomatic.
  • Attendees must wear masks at all times while attending courses in-person. An N95 or a surgical procedure mask is required to participate in the meeting rooms and exhibit hall. A cloth mask alone is not sufficient. We will provide surgical masks for those who do not have one on site.
  • Participants should refrain from consuming food and beverage in meeting rooms or in the General Session.
  • Attendees must maintain 6 feet of social distance as much as possible.
  • In such situations where 6 feet of distance cannot be maintained, assigned seating or partners/groups will be used.
  • Hand sanitation stations will be provided and frequent handwashing is encouraged. Meeting spaces will be thoroughly cleaned by facility staff each evening.
  • Destination conferences will be planned as hybrid meetings with in-person and livestream options.
