COURSE DESCRIPTION
This comprehensive program is designed to provide advanced instruction in diagnosing both common and complex cardiac arrhythmias within the electrophysiology laboratory, with a focus on performing effective and safe catheter ablation procedures. Participants will gain valuable insights into the diagnostic and management challenges associated with various arrhythmias.

Through case-based, illustrative presentations, this course will explore diagnostic dilemmas and provide key management strategies. Experts will walk through detailed patient cases, offering a step-by-step analysis and an in-depth review of the approaches used in catheter ablation.

Topics covered will include:

  • Atrial Fibrillation (AF): Ablation techniques for both paroxysmal and persistent AF
  • Complex Atrial Arrhythmias: Diagnosis and management of multifocal atrial tachycardia, atrial tachycardia, and more
  • Atypical Atrial Flutter: Ablation strategies post-AF ablation or in patients with congenital heart disease
  • Electrophysiology Mapping: Detailed discussion on mapping technologies and their application in achieving successful ablation outcomes
  • Complications and Safety: Identifying and managing potential complications during procedures
  • Latest Advancements: Emerging technologies and methodologies in arrhythmia management and ablation

At the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge to confidently diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of arrhythmias, perform catheter ablation procedures with enhanced safety, and understand the latest advancements in electrophysiology and arrhythmia management.

INTENDED AUDIENCE
This educational activity is designed for electrophysiologists, cardiologists, internists, hospitalists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with atrial fibrillation and cardiac rhythm disorders. The program is also relevant for fellows-in-training and allied health professionals seeking to improve their understanding of guideline-directed therapies and emerging technologies in rhythm management.
