Overview: This webinar will provide an overview on some of the most exciting innovations in the field of cardiac electrophysiology. The focus will span device and ablation technologies and approaches that are relatively new to clinical implementation as well as the those on the near horizon. Learn what options are available and in clinical trial testing to help patients with refractory atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, and device-based options for heart failure patients with complex cardiac resynchronization scenarios.
As an attendee you will hear talks from each renowned Mayo Clinic speaker and will be able to discuss, debate, and ask questions regarding this important topic. This webinar will:
- Provide an overview of pulsed-electric field electroporation as an emerging ablative approach to improve safety and efficacy of atrial fibrillation procedures.
- Demonstrate the utility of His-bundle and left bundle pacing, and other newer approaches in patients in need of cardiac resynchronization therapy.
- Provide an overview on the utility of needle-based catheter ablation for mid-myocardial substrate for PVC and VT ablation, as well as future approaches using non-invasive external beam therapies.
