There are two additional guidelines you will need to plan for in your upcoming travel to the live component or if you are on the wait list for live component of a Mayo Clinic Cardiovascular CME conference:

  • All live (in-person) course attendees (including faculty, staff, learners and exhibitors) must attest to being vaccinated
     
  • Attendees must complete COVID-19 testing and provide attestation that a negative test result, performed by any testing mechanism, was received within 72 hours or less of the event start date

COURSE OVERVIEW
Attend Snowmass Cardiovascular: Cases, Controversies, and Challenges in 2022 to update your knowledge of current diagnostic and therapeutic strategies of patients with cardiovascular disease. More than half of Snowmass attendees return, a testament to the excellent quality of the conference which has a more than 50-year history. If you are a first-time attendee, you will find a unique conference that features state-of-the-art knowledge aligned with practical decision-making set in an interactive program that includes discussions, case presentations and debates. The faculty, comprising renowned experts and investigators, will offer insights and practical clinical advice for dealing with common cardiovascular problems incorporating the latest research and clinical guidelines focusing on the last two years.

To reinforce the knowledge gained from the course and ensure lasting value to each attendee’s practice, Mayo Clinic provides access to all course presentations with voice-over recordings after the completion of the course. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Employ practical, evidence–based strategies in the prevention of cardiovascular disease including lipid and atherosclerosis management; 
  • Evaluate contemporary diagnostic modalities and treatment strategies for valvular heart disease; 
  • Describe current approaches in the investigation and management of coronary artery disease; 
  • Analyze emerging trends across heart failure care including in coronary and intensive care units; 
  • Identify best practices for the management of patients with atrial and ventricular arrhythmias; and,  
  • Employ appropriate diagnostic and treatment strategies in patients with congenital heart disease.
