COURSE DESCRIPTION
This complimentary dinner symposium will provide an overview of critical knowledge gaps that exist regarding the diagnosis, management, and treatment of inflammatory cardiomyopathies. By reviewing state-of-the-art strategies for the diagnosis and management of inflammatory heart disease, such symposia raise awareness and offer an opportunity for multidisciplinary, collaborative, nation-wide efforts to address these gaps, enhance academic growth and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this symposium, participants should be able to:
- describe the heterogeneous pathophysiology and clinical presentations of inflammatory cardiomyopathy;
- review diagnostic algorithms and the role of advanced cardiac imaging in the evaluation inflammatory cardiomyopathy;
- review therapeutic approach for the management of inflammatory cardiomyopathy including lymphocytic, eosinophilic, immune check point inhibitor, giant cell, and sarcoid myocarditis; and,
- integrate the role of genomics and artificial intelligence in the approach to inflammatory cardiomyopathy.

INTENDED AUDIENCE
