COURSE DESCRIPTION
This complimentary dinner symposium will provide an overview of AI-ECG algorithms with great potential to change clinical practice. Mayo Clinic has positioned itself as the world leader in AI using ECG. There have been several very promising discoveries demonstrating that we can identify early disease with potential implications for changing the course of disease and/or preventing cardiovascular events.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this symposium, participants should be able to:

  • recognize the basic foundations of machine learning in cardiology
  • summarize the most recent developments using AI-ECG to detect several cardiovascular conditions early in time, and discuss the clinical potential of such discoveries
  • describe the potential future landscape of artificial intelligence in cardiology and medicine in general
