Course Description
This program will provide an overview of all aspects of cardiovascular medicine with an update on the latest knowledge and advances in cardiovascular medicine.  Special attention will be given to the core competencies needed for the nurse practitioner and physician assistant providers to offer comprehensive cardiovascular care. Topics will highlight core competencies along with comprehensive clinical care including diagnosis, management, testing ordering and interpretation, and patient education.  Topic modules will include patient assessent, heart failure, valvular heart disease, ischemic disease, prevention, adult congenital heart disease, and cardiac arrhythmias.  The video content will provide a valuable update and knowledge improving comprehension and outcomes in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of cardiovascular disease.
