LODGING ACCOMMODATIONS
Guest rooms have been reserved for attendees and their guests with special course rates at the Fairmont Orchid, Kohala Coast, HI. In order to receive the group rate, reservations must be made before the room block is filled or before the expiration date of December 28, 2022, whichever comes first. Reservations will be taken after this date based on space and rate availability. Due to the popularity of this conference, early reservations are recommended.

Cancellation of individual reservations made up to 14 days prior to arrival will be accepted, and the deposit refunded for those rooms for the full night’s stay. For reservations cancelled within 14 days prior to arrival, individuals will be responsible for 100% of room.

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m.  Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.

The resort fee of $35 per day will be reduced to $15 per day for attendees that book their reservation in our group block at the Fairmont Orchid.

• Unlimited basic internet access in your guest rooms and resort public areas, wireless and wired. (Fairmont President’s Club Members receive upgrade to premium speed internet access)
• Self-parking for one vehicle per room (Fairmont Gold guests receive valet parking for one vehicle per room)
• One-hour snorkel equipment rental (based on two sets per room, per day)
• Any local, domestic long distance and 1-800 access calls from your guest room
• 10% discount on published pricing for the Hawaii Loa luau when booked through the hotel’s Concierge (may not be combined with any other discounts or special offers)
• Various Cultural Activities including Outrigger Canoe Rides, Daily Arts & Crafts, Cultural Hikes, Tide Pool and Snorkel Introductions
• Cultural Activities, Shuttle Service and Snorkel Rentals are subject to space availability.

Mayo Clinic Department of Cardiovascular Medicine is not responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed and for whom space is not available at the meeting.  Costs incurred by the registrant such as airline or hotel fees or penalties are the responsibility of the registrant.

Lodging and travel arrangements are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.
