Update on Walt Disney World Resort Operations - 3/16/2020

Disney owned-and-operated hotels at Walt Disney World Resort will close beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20 through the end of the month. 

The resort will be cancelling room reservations for all reservations in the meeting room block to date.  Individuals with existing reservations for these dates will be cancelled and deposits refunded.  Individuals will need to make other arrangements if still planning on visiting Florida.

The Heart Failure Management for NP, PA, and Primary Care Providers Conference scheduled for March 26-28, 2020 has been CANCELLED. 

ITEMS TO REMEMBER FOR CANCELLATION

• Contact the Disney group reservation line to cancel your room reservation by March 14, 2020 to ensure your room deposit refund.   Room reservations are subject to the Walt Disney Reservation room cancellation policy.  Deposit is refundable up to  five(5) day or more in advance.  Group Disney Reservations (407-939-4686). 

For individuals electing to travel to Disney and keep your reservation, no action is required.

• Group park tickets are nonrefundable and expire.  However, after the expiration date, the price paid for a wholly unused ticket can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket with an equal or higher price. Unless otherwise stated, tickets are not valid for separately priced activities or events. Admission is subject to capacity closures and to other restrictions.    Inquiries about any exception to the policy should contact the Group Ticketing line (407-566-5600).

Disney’s Contemporary Resort Limited availability at the group rate of $272.00 plus tax per night

Guest rooms have been reserved for attendees and their guests with special course rates at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. In order to receive the special rate, reservations must be made before the room block is filled or before the expiration date of February 20, 2020, whichever comes first. Please identify yourself as a participant of the Mayo Heart Failure Program when making your reservation to ensure the group rate.
