Airport
AIRPORT: The closest international airport to Whistler, British Columbia is Vancouver International Airport (YVR). It's about 135 kilometers south of Whistler, a 2–2.5 hour drive away along Highway 99, a scenic road also known as the Sea to Sky Highway.
TRANSPORTATION: Once you arrive at the airport, you can get to Whistler by:
- Renting a car
- Taking a shuttle bus GET BUS COMPANY NAME
- Taking a private vehicle charter
- Taking a helicopter charter
- Taking a floatplane (seasonal, from Vancouver Harbour)
- Taking a taxi
Airport shuttles are available from Vancouver International Airport to Fairmont Chateau Whistler with regularly scheduled service. Reservations are required.
