Who Should Receive Surgical Aortic Valve Replacement in the Current TAVR Era?

This program will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 4-5 pm Central Time.

Live Broadcast Time Zones

5:00 PM EDT |3:00 PM MDT | 2:00 PM PDT

Overview:
Transcatheter aortic valve replacement has become the most common treatment strategy for aortic valve disease. However, some patients are still best suited for surgical rather than transcatheter intervention. In this webinar, we discuss a few scenarios where surgical intervention should remain the first line option for patients with aortic valve disease.

Objectives:

       1. To describe the changing landscape of aortic valve interventions
       2. To identify current indications for surgical vs transcatheter aortic valve replacement

Target Audience
It is a topic of interest to cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, oncologists, general internists, radiologists, and all groups of providers including trainees, NP/PA’s, and physicians.
