This complimentary dinner symposium will review the state-of-the-art strategies for diagnosis and management of cardiac sarcoidosis. Faculty will use a case-based approach encouraging audience participation and discussion to outline challenges and controversies related to cardiac sarcoidosis.
Upon completion of this symposium, participants should be able to:
- list specific attributes of echocardiography, FDG-PET, and cardiac MRI in the diagnosis and follow-up of cardiac sarcoid
- identify optimal approaches to risk stratification and treatment of electrophysiologic disturbances in patients with sarcoid
- Evaluate sarcoid patients including identifying those with high likelihood of having disease in the absence of histologic evidence of cardiac sarcoidosis
This course is designed for general cardiologists, electrophysiologists, heart failure specialists, cardiac imaging specialists, as well as cardiology fellows and APPNs.
