Course Description
Outpatient cardiac rehabilitation is an important part of the patient’s recovery process from heart disease. These self-study materials will provide an overview for health professionals new to Cardiac Rehabilitation, or those wanting to improve their existing program. These materials will provide basic recommendations for patient assessment and treatment plans, along with providing rationale for tracking outcomes based on the experience of Mayo Clinic, Rochester.

Course Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Provide an online learning experience by Mayo Clinic experts in cardiac rehabilitation
- To understand the basic recommendations for patient assessment and treatment plan
- To understand the rationale and benefits of tracking outcomes and maintaining a robust database
- To provide an overview for health care professionals new to CR programs
