  • Calculate pulmonary artery pressures including mean pressure based on information obtained from an echocardiogram, understanding the potential pitfalls to accuracy.
  • Recognize the echocardiographic parameters that indicate severity of disease in patients with pulmonary hypertension
  • Describe the echocardiographic patterns in various groups of pulmonary hypertension

How to Access the Right Heart

  • Discuss practical tips for the assessment of right ventricular size and function with 2D echocardiography
