This program reviews the etiology and echocardiographic assessment of tricuspid and pulmonary valve disease. Echocardiographic examples of the key features of both stenosis and regurgitation of these valves will be presented.

Objectives

  • Recognize the Doppler characteristics of severe pulmonary valve regurgitation
  • Assess tricuspid valve regurgitation with quantitative and semi-quantitative measures
  • Describe the etiologies of right sided valvular heart disease
