Contrast echocardiography is an essential component of the contemporary echo lab. This presentation will review the clinically relevant basics of ultrasound contrast physics to optimize image acquisition, state-of-the art clinical applications of contrast echo, safety and administration of ultrasound contrast agents, and evolving application for myocardial perfusion imaging.
